Cricket has long been regarded as a sport that unites communities, nations, and cultures. However, within the realm of disability cricket, there exists an urgent need for a structured, high-quality, and truly inclusive international competition that represents the diverse abilities of disabled players worldwide. The Differently Abled Cricket Council of India (DCCI) is proud to introduce the IT20 Mixed Disabiliy Series, a ground breaking initiative designed to revolutionize the global disability cricket landscape. This international tournament, inspired by England’s Disability Premier League (DPL) model introduced in 2022, will create a unified platform for cricketers with different disabilities, breaking barriers and paving the way for true inclusivity and high-performance cricket.
